The NSS has initiated a recruitment drive to engage National Service graduates and unemployed youth as volunteers for a six-month period.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has initiated a recruitment drive to engage national Service graduates and unemployed youth as volunteers for a six-month period.

This move aims to address the rising issue of youth unemployment in the country, following numerous applications received from young job seekers.

In a statement released on Thursday in Accra, the NSS outlined that the recruitment will target various sectors including sanitation, teaching, agriculture, health, and other areas that align with the Government’s efforts to enhance environmental health, cleanliness, and sustainable development.

The NSS also announced the launch of an online application system on their website to streamline the selection process. They encouraged widespread dissemination of this opportunity among potential candidates in different regions and districts, urging local leaders to provide necessary guidance and support throughout the application process.

“The recruitment will focus on various models including sanitation, teaching, agriculture, health and other sectors aligned with the Government’s efforts to promote environmental health, cleanliness, and sustainable development.”

“An online application system will be operational soon on the Scheme’s website to facilitate the selection process. We encourage you to spread awareness about this opportunity among potential candidates in your region/district and provide necessary guidance and support throughout the application process.”
