In a shocking development in the ongoing suspected ritual murder case in Bole, Savanna Region, the head of the decapitated body has been discovered.

Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, Yusif Sulemana, confirmed that the severed head was found in a polythene bag on the outskirts of Bole Township, indicating the perpetrator might have been attempting to flee with it before abandoning it.

The gruesome find follows the retrieval of the headless and mutilated body of an unidentified man from the pavement of St. Kizito’s Primary School. The victim was found naked with his head and manhood severed.

This incident adds to a series of similar disturbing cases in Bole. In 2022, bodies were discovered half-buried with missing parts. The recent wave of killings has particularly targeted mentally ill individuals and night security guards, also known as watchmen. Since January, four bodies have been found at different locations in the area, sparking fear and a self-imposed curfew among residents.

In response, Assembly Members and security personnel are actively engaging with the community to gather more information.

MP Sulemana revealed that a community watchdog programme is being organized, with volunteers already identified to participate in the initiative. The goal is to enhance community safety and prevent further incidents.
