Ghana Police Probe Deaths of Two Minors in Kakpayili

The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the deaths of two minors in Kakpayili, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region.

The children, Arafat and Ayaa, were reported missing on June 25, 2024, and their bodies were discovered on June 30, 2024, in an abandoned vehicle within the community.

Community members, in their efforts to search the house of the alleged neighbors, found no results, leading to agitation among the residents.

Alhaji Hafiz Andani, the assembly member for the Kakpayili electoral area, stated that police investigations on Sunday revealed that the bodies were found in an abandoned car parked behind the suspect’s house.

The police, in a statement on [X], explained that they have taken custody of the bodies, which have been sent to the Tamale Teaching Hospital Morgue for further examination and autopsy.
