“Ghanaians have agreed to make Bawumia President” -Miracles Aboagye confident of victory in 2024 elections

Dennis Miracles Aboagye has expressed strong confidence that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer will win the 2024 general elections.

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, has expressed strong confidence that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer will win the 2024 general elections.

Speaking on Accra-based Channel One TV’s “Face to Face” with Umaru Sanda Amadu, Miracles Aboagye highlighted that Ghanaians are ready to give Dr. Bawumia a chance to lead the country, marking a new era of leadership and development.

He emphasized that the electorate is eager to see Dr. Bawumia demonstrate his leadership abilities, pointing out that former President John Mahama, Dr. Bawumia’s main rival, had already been given an opportunity to lead the nation, and now it is Dr. Bawumia’s turn to showcase his vision and capabilities.

“I can tell you that the people are resolved to allow Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to also show what it is that he can also do and deliver to this country. The people’s conviction is that we have a choice between Dr Bawumia and a former President [Mahama], Dr Bawumia has never been President before, he’s the Vice President. But between him and the former President, the difference is the former President has been a Vice President before.

“So, they both ticked that box and then he [Mahama] came to us and said I’m a spare driver, give me an opportunity to be a driver. And let me show you what I can do, and we actually listened, and he became President.

When addressing the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) criticism of Dr. Bawumia’s role in the country’s economic challenges and the trustworthiness of his promises, Aboagye dismissed these claims as “weak and unfounded.” He questioned John Mahama’s credibility, asking why he should be given another chance after failing to deliver during his previous tenure.

“First of all, that coinage from the NDC is weak. It has no leg, it’s wobbling,” Aboagye argued. “The fact then also is that I’m John Mahama, I was a President, and I didn’t do the things I was supposed to do. I have come to you to vote for me to do all the things that I didn’t do.”

Dr. Bawumia has been actively campaigning nationwide in his bid for the presidency. However, he has yet to announce his choice for a running mate, a decision that is eagerly anticipated by both the public and political analysts.
