Finance Minister Dr. Mohamed Amin Adam has revealed plans to launch a series of media advertisements aimed at showcasing the achievements of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
Addressing Ghanaian residents in the UK, Dr. Amin Adam emphasized that this initiative will enhance transparency by allowing citizens to see the tangible results of their tax contributions.
“And so very soon, we have taken videos and photos of iconic projects — key projects that have been done by the government. And we are going to place them at vantage points across the country. Your tax is working for you, written all over.
“So that people know that we don’t take the taxes and throw the taxes somewhere. We use the taxes to develop and provide educational infrastructure, health infrastructure, and growth infrastructure. So these are some of the measures that we are introducing.”
The Finance Minister added that this move is part of broader efforts to ensure Ghanaians understand how their taxes are being utilized for national development.
