Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (alias NAPO) paid a visit to the Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, and welcomed a delegation from the Assemblies of God Church, Ghana, led by Rev. Dr. Stephen Yenusom Wengam.
Dr. Prempeh visited the traditional ruler of the Abuakwa State on June 20, 2024, seeking his wisdom and guidance. He expressed gratitude for Osagyefo’s invaluable advice, which has influenced his personal and political life.
“Osagyefo’s wise and fatherly counsel has been invaluable, shaping many aspects of my personal and political life, and so this was another profound opportunity to listen to his words of wisdom”, Napo shared on his social media pages after the visit.
The King of the Akyem Abuakwa Kingdom, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, praised Dr. Prempeh for his humility and dedication to Ghana’s development, commending his approach of consulting traditional authorities for wisdom in his work.
Earlier, Dr. Prempeh welcomed a delegation from the Assemblies of God Church, Ghana, highlighting the importance of interfaith dialogue and collaboration.
He emphasized the intertwined impact of politics and religion on society, advocating for a just, compassionate, and inclusive society built on shared values of integrity, empathy, and service.
Rev. Wengam and his team offered prayers for Dr. Prempeh and intercessory prayers for the nation’s political leaders, underscoring the role of spiritual guidance in leadership.
