Excitement Builds as Dolphins Swim Team Lands in Accra
Dolphins Swim Team has today arrived in Accra ahead of the National Swimming competition which begins on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Borteyman Sports Complex.
Representing the Western Region, a total number of 20 swimmers arrived in Accra with 11 set to compete in the finals in the wake of winning gold medals for the Dolphins Swim team.
Also, present at this year’s National Swimming Competition is African Sharks, the only club representing the Ashanti Region.
Ghana Dolphins, Marlins, Legon Swimming Club, Ghana Aquatic Masters, Torpedo, Blue Fins, Monarch Swim Club, Team Seals, and Lincoln Community School are all representing Greater Accra in this year’s event.
The Dolphins Swim Team placed 4th in the last edition and will be targeting the most medals this year when the event starts tomorrow.
The team will be involved in disciplines such as the 200m Backstroke, 100m Breaststroke, 50m Breaststroke, 200m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle, 100m Individual Medley, 50m Butterfly and 4*50m Mixed Freestyle Relay.
