President Akufo-Addo extends the appointment of the Auditor-General by two years
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has extended the appointment of Auditor-General Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu for an additional two years. Mr. Asiedu was initially set to retire on August 1, 2024.
A notice dated June 19 from the Audit Service announced the extension and congratulated Mr. Asiedu.
“I wish to inform all staff that His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana has extended the tenure of the office of the Auditor General, Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, for the next two years,” the notice read.
The Audit Service further extended its congratulations to Mr. Asiedu on the extension of his appointment, thanking him for his continued service.
