Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the former National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), criticized Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), branding him a failure.
He rebuked the Vice President for distancing himself from economic mismanagement and failing to meet expectations in salvaging the economy.
Ampofo drew a comparison between Bawumia and Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Leader of the Movement for Change, known for presenting new ideas.
He questioned Bawumia’s effectiveness, particularly regarding his role as the chairman of the Economic Management Team.
Ampofo urged Ghanaians to take inspiration from the recent South African elections and vote out the current government.
He expressed surprise at the silence surrounding the country’s hardships and emphasized the importance of citizens’ voices in effecting change.
