Kanye West to counter-sue ex-assistant for blackmail and extortion
Kanye West is planning to counter-sue his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, following her accusations of sexual harassment and breach of contract.
Pisciotta alleged in court documents that West sent her inappropriate messages and engaged in sexual acts while speaking with her on the phone.
West’s legal representative dismissed these allegations as “baseless” and accused Pisciotta of attempting “blackmail and extortion” after West turned down her advances.
They stated that West, also known as Ye, would file a lawsuit against Pisciotta in response to her claims.
Pisciotta worked for West from 2021 to 2022, initially on his fashion line and later as his personal assistant with a salary of $1 million per year.
She claimed that during this time, West sent explicit texts and videos, masturbated while talking to her on the phone, and exposed himself to her on his private plane.
In her lawsuit, Pisciotta also mentioned that she was abruptly fired in 2022 without receiving her promised severance package.
However, West’s lawyer disputed this, stating that Pisciotta was terminated for being unqualified and making unreasonable salary demands.
The lawyer accused Pisciotta of engaging in “lascivious, unhinged conduct” and using sexual coercion to demand money and luxury items from West.
They claimed that after West rejected her advances, Pisciotta attempted to extort $60 million from him.
The media reached out to Pisciotta for comment, but she did not respond immediately.
However, she posted a message on her Instagram story about allowing others to dislike and disagree with you, hinting at the ongoing controversy.
