Stonebwoy wins ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards

Livingstone Etse Satekla, Afro-Dancehall musician better known as Stonebwoy, clinched the prestigious Artiste of the Year award at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

Facing formidable competition from fellow Ghanaian music luminaries such as Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Sarkodie, Nacee, and Black Sherif, Stonebwoy emerged triumphant.

This victory, his second Artiste of the Year accolade, cements Stonebwoy’s status as a dominant force in Ghana’s music industry.

With eleven nominations, Stonebwoy secured six awards, making him the highest winner of the evening.

Additionally, he joins Sarkodie as one of the only two artists to have claimed the coveted Artiste of the Year title twice since its inception in 1999.

The 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards ceremony unfolded at the Grand Arena of the International Conference Centre (AICC) on June 1st.
