One fatality has been reported following a fishing boat capsizing near Ada West District in the Greater Accra Region, as reported by the National Disaster Management Organization in the area.
The tragic event unfolded on Wednesday, May 29, when the boat, transporting ten people, encountered a leak, leading to its submersion.
Initially, four individuals, including two Ghanaians, were unaccounted for. However, three individuals were successfully rescued.
Regrettably, one person was recovered deceased, and the body has been transferred to the morgue.
