The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Sefwi Wiawso Constituency, Kofi Benteh Afful, has expressed confidence in the party’s prospects for the upcoming 2024 elections.
Afful highlighted growing dissatisfaction among Ghanaians with the current Akufo-Addo and Bawumia administrations, indicating a favourable climate for the NDC.
“The atmosphere and winds blowing all over the country signal victory for the NDC come December 7 polls,” affirmed Kofi Benteh, reflecting on the prevailing sentiment among voters.
Addressing concerns regarding the ongoing limited voters’ registration exercise, Afful called for swift action from the Electoral Commission of Ghana to mitigate challenges and ensure a smooth electoral process in December.
“I think the registration exercise is ongoing, but I will entreat the EC to take the necessary steps to avert the same in the December 7 polls,” he stated.
Kofi Afful urged constituents, particularly those in Sefwi Wiawso, to actively participate in the registration process to facilitate their voting rights.
Additionally, he cautioned against being swayed by attention-seeking individuals and emphasized the importance of focusing on the NDC’s victory drive.
“I will plead with the constituents to avoid paying heed to the attention seekers but focus on the victory drive for the NDC in the December 7 elections,” he reiterated.
