TVET Advocate Victor Abgenafa Gordon Champions Skills Development for National Progress in Ghana

The Ghana National Union of Technical Students Ambassador for Takoradi Technical University, Victor Abgenafa Gordon, has outlined the importance of vocational, technical, and training education (TVET) in national development.

According to him, gone are the days when technical, vocational, education, and training were considered to be for unintelligent people.

For him, TVET offers an individual an opportunity to create jobs for themselves and others, thereby reducing unemployment.

Technical, Vocational Education Training (TVET) is a type of education and training that focuses on providing students with practical skills and knowledge for a specific trade or vocation.

Despite TVET being a game changer in the Ghana’s education and job industry, financial challenges have become a blockade, hindering experts from utilizing the skills they have acquired.
