Fatal accident involving President Akufo-Addo’s convoy leaves one dead, others injured
A tragic accident involving President Akufo-Addo’s convoy has left one person dead and several others seriously injured.
The incident occurred at Bunso Junction in the Eastern Region as the convoy was returning from the funeral of the late Ejisu MP, John Kumah in the Ashanti Region.
According to reports, a KIA truck crossed the path of the speeding convoy, leading to the collision. Fortunately, President Akufo-Addo was not present in the convoy at the time of the accident.
Beach News has learned that two military officers attached to the Presidency sustained injuries in the crash and have been airlifted to Accra for further medical treatment.
The deceased has been identified as a driver from Jubilee House.
