Professor Grace Ayensu Dankwa Prioritizes Youth Empowerment and Infrastructure Development in Essikado Constituency Policies

The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Essikado Constituency, Professor Grace Ayensu Dankwa, says that youth employment and financial and skill empowerment are some of the critical things to consider in her formulating policies for constituents.

Professor Ayensu Dankwa disclosed this in an interview on the Western Echo Show, saying her policies will align with those of the flag bearer of the party.

Improving infrastructural development in the area, she mentioned a marketplace, a place of convenience, and lorry terminals as being included in her policy.

“I’m going to put my policies on paper and present it to the constituency; I’m just waiting for my president Mahama to bring his manifesto, and then my policies will come out, so to align to the same thing.

But I have done it in thematic areas. So when you talk about youth unemployment, that is, for me, the biggest problem we have. So, in line with President Mahama’s 24-hour economy, where we are going to run a shift system, for both the public and private sector, I will hire a lot of the youth.

“Currently, I’m trying to help them in the police service, fire service, and Ports Authority. There are also loans for Aboboya and Pragya drivers. There are also loans for women traders, who would receive financial literacy to utilize the funds properly.”
