Entertainers Don’t Have a Personal Life So Drugs Mostly Turn Out To Be Their Ecstasy—Wei ye Oteng
Ace music producer and artiste manager, Wei Ye Oteng, has argued that most entertainers or celebrities do not have freedom or a personal life, and as a result, most of them turn to drugs to get into the rhapsody of enjoyment.
On Spice FM after drive show with Nana Ama Shancy, Mr. Oteng dove quite deep into the lives of the celebrities who tend to entertain us daily.
“Who makes the entertainer happy, or who entertains the entertainer?
The moment we get an answer to this question, a lot of things will be solved. Yes, it’s beautiful to be a celebrity, but the moment you become a celebrity, you can’t live normally like before. You can’t just wake up and go to the mall like any other person; you can’t go and buy kenkey from the street like any other person.
You don’t have freedom like before, and it gradually leads to depression. These celebrities get depressed because they don’t have a life,” he explained vividly.
He further addressed that, apart from the fact that most of these musicians are seen living lavishly, they don’t have lives or freedom.
“Every celebrity who’s into drugs is mostly depressed. You might think a musician has a life, but apart from the fact that they travel to events in nice cars, sleep in lavish hotels, and all that, they lack freedom. It’s hard knowing that your life is restricted, and so mostly the only option they have is alcohol and hard drugs, which are believed to take you to that euphoria,” he added.
What makes these celebrities valuable is their appearance, so a celebrity who is all over the place is not valued and as a result, they can’t live just like everyone else.
Wei Ye Oteng concluded by advising our celebrities to avoid drugs, saying that no matter the situation, drugs will only make you forget for a moment. When you are back to normal, the problem still awaits you, and if you don’t take care, you’ll abuse it and cause harm to yourself.
