The NDC Parliamentary Candidate in the Essikado-Ketan Constituency, Prof. Grace Ayensu Danquah, says the NPP has made the mistake of electing Charles Bissue to represent the party in the upcoming elections.
According to her, Charles Bissue is unfit for the job given his past experiences.
In an interview on Beach FM, Prof. Grace Ayensu believes that Giovanni Nana Agyeman has a track record of contributing to the constituents’ lives.
“I think the NPP in Essikado Ketan made a mistake. I know Giovanni because I know the work he has done for the NPP in Essikado Ketan Constituency.
Apparently, he started as the youth organiser, helped Joe Ghartey, he did a lot of things.
he is one of the reasons that the NPP in Essikado Ketan is what it is now. I truly believe that. And so if it is time for somebody who has been around for 20 years to leave the scene, I personally think they should have given it to Giovanni.
Because he is an important stakeholder, he is also from here, and he has an interest in the well-being of the constituency, but instead, they took the money and voted for somebody who is completely inappropriate for the job. This person, as we speak today, has a criminal case pending, “
Prof. Ayensu Dankwa noted that Giovanni Nana Agyemang would have had tougher competition than Charles Bissue.
” I think Giovanni would have given me a tougher contest because it would have been the both of us from the Constituency, both of us contributing to our political parties; both of us that person know, we have already done things in the Constituency, so I think of all the 3 candidates he would have given me a tougher contest,”
