The Municipal Chief Executive of the Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly, EKMA, Mr.Kojo Acquah, has briefed the members of the Assembly on the performance, programs, projects, and activities ongoing in the Assembly.
At the first ordinary meeting of the first session of the assembly, MCE Acquah highlighted projects, programs, and activities that have been supervised by the assembly.
Briefing the house on some activities that have taken place in the Assembly, Mr. Kojo Acquah said, a total of 3 thousand and 20 candidates took the Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates, BECE, organized by the Assembly.
This move, he said, is to improve the performance of the students in the forthcoming examination.
MCE Acquah also disclosed that arrears owed caterers under the Ghana School Feeding program have been settled.
Touching on the routine vaccination of childhood, MCE Acquah stated that a total of 1 thousand and 87 children received vaccination out of a target of 1 thousand, two hundred and 36 children who were less than a year old.
He nonetheless outlined strategies put in place to ensure a clean and healthier environment.
