Wendy Shay Advises Ghanaian Artistes to seek help from their Fellow Nigerian Artistes
Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has asked her colleagues in the Ghana music industry to learn the music trade secrets from their Nigerian counterparts.
In an earlier post where she credited Nigerians for putting Africa on the international music market, TIC TAC angrily told her to stick to issues at her level of insight.
Wendy Shay’s new Facebook post shows that she is not bordered by the jabs at her intelligence.
She wrote, ” Give Nigerian artistes their flowers for bringing the world’s attention to Africa through Afrobeats and you people vex?”
Wendy Shay continued to lay out her reasons for exalting Nigerian music, fully aware of the rivalry between the two industries.
“I will say it again. Let’s swallow our pride, go to them and ask them how they did it. They might show us the road. God is using me to speak to you, You People, no wan listen. Ghana, wake up!”
She added that,
“The genre, believed to have originated in Nigeria, has seen a lot of international acts joining the trend with features”.
