Nana Kwamina Ekuntan II Urges NPP Parliamentary Candidate to Prioritize Development in Dwomo
The Chief of Dwomo in the Shama District of the Shama Constituency, Nana Kwamina Ekuntan, the second, has called on the Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party in the Shama Constituency, Mr. Isaac Kwamina Afful, to make it a priority to bring development to the people of the Dwomo township.
According to him, the people of Dwomo have not benefited from any projects under the New Patriotic Party administration.
This, he noted, makes the community feel neglected and has been marginalised in development.
He mentioned this during a visit by the NPP Parliamentary Candidate in the Shama Constituency, Isaac Kwamena Afful.
“We cannot name a single project that the NPP government has put up in our community. The streetlights you see around are provided by the former MP, Assilfie, so I want to tell Nana Kwamina that it is about time we see development here by the NPP.
We’ve voted for the party since, but nothing has been done for us. Just like, you’ve started, continue when you get the mandate.”
Mr. Isaac Kwamina Afful opined that even though he has not been mandated to become a Member of Parliament, his work is a testament to what he seeks to do for them when given the nod.
He said, ” I plead with the people of Dwomo to remember me when it’s time for voting.
I want to serve the people, especially the people in the Shama constituency. Consider the good work, I’m doing here, and vote for me.
