The Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah, has implored the youth to be innovative in the generation of business ideas.
According to him, innovative thinking, energy, and fresh perspectives can be harnessed to shape a brighter future in the region.
Mr. Darko Mensah, delivering a speech at the 67th Independence Day at Sekondi, noted that the region is home to a wealth of untapped talent in various fields.
“Our region is home to a wealth of untapped talent in various fields, from the arts to entrepreneurship and innovation, which presents the future of not only our economy but also the aspirations and dreams of our young people. You are the driving force behind any nation’s development.
“Your innovative thinking, energy, and fresh perspectives can be harnessed to shape a brighter future for our region. Entrepreneurship, the spirit of starting and managing one’s own business, is a powerful avenue for young people to channel their creativity, ambition, and drive,” the minister said.
” I, therefore, encourage everyone, especially the youth, to consider entrepreneurship in addition to the academic and other career paths you have chosen, not only to seek employment but also to help address local and global challenges,”
