A gruesome homicide investigation is underway after a man, Justin Mohn, allegedly posted a disturbing video on social media claiming responsibility for decapitating his father.

The video, which circulated on YouTube and amassed over 5,000 views before being taken down, showed Mohn holding what seemed to be his father’s severed head in a clear plastic bag.

In the footage, he declared himself the acting president of the United States under martial law and expressed grievances against the Biden administration and the border crisis.

Mohn, 32, is now in custody, facing charges including murder, abuse of a corpse, and other offenses, according to Pennsylvania court documents.

The victim, a man in his 60s and a federal employee of over 20 years, was found beheaded and covered in blood, prompting the police investigation.

“The federal government of America has declared war on its citizens and the American states. America is rotting from the inside out as far-left, woke mobs rampage our once prosperous cities,” Mohn stated in the video, accusing his father of being a traitor to the country.

Middletown Township Police Chief Joseph Bartorilla confirmed Mohn’s identity as the victim’s son. Mohn fled over 100 miles to Fort Indiantown Gap, where he was apprehended near a National Guard training base with the assistance of civilian and Pennsylvania State Police.

YouTube faced criticism for allowing the video to circulate, prompting a response from the company: “YouTube has strict policies prohibiting graphic violence and violent extremism… Justin Mohn’s channel was terminated in line with our violent extremism policies.”

Mohn was arraigned via video early Wednesday, and a judge ordered him held without bond. His next hearing is scheduled for February 8.

The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office will hold a news conference on Wednesday to provide further details on the case.
