An NPP parliamentary aspirant in the Mpohor Constituency in the Western Region, Alex Kofi Agyekum, says his initial plan is to complete and bring about development in the constituency.
According to Mr. Agyekum, the constituents need good roads and employment, among other policies, to better the people’s lives.
Mr. Agyekum mentions in an interview with Arafat Musah, host of Western Echo Show, that skills development is the way to go, as he will make it a priority to help the youth acquire artisanal skills in carpentry, masonry, and fashion designing.
He described it as a ‘lazy approach’ for politicians who use slot systems to create jobs for the youth.
The two-term MP urged the delegates to vote for a representative with the constituency’s interests at heart.
He assured them of completing abandoned projects dotted across the constituency.
Mr. Alex Kofi Agyekum is competing with first-term Member of Parliament, Hon. John Kobina Abbam Aboah Sanie and Philip Asirifi Cobbinah.
