Cheddar reveals being the face of “The New Force” movement
Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar or Freedom Jacob Caesar, has disclosed that he is the mastermind behind “The New Force” political movement.
He made this revelation during a press conference held in Accra on January 7, 2024, where he also unveiled his identity as the long-anticipated “Man in the Mask.”
The 43-year-old entrepreneur was accompanied by prominent political figures from across Africa, including Peter Obi of Nigeria, PLO Lumumba of Kenya, and Zimbabwe’s Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao. These leaders had gathered for a public lecture event named “The Convention,” organized under Bediako’s New Africa Foundation.
However, the event was abruptly canceled at the last minute, with the Presidency citing an unforeseen occurrence at the scheduled venue, the Black Star Square in Accra.
During the press conference, Cheddar expressed his fearlessness, stating, “I have nothing to be scared of. I came to you as your salvation. I don’t invest in myself alone. I am investing in you.”
He emphasized his plans for Ghana and Africa, focusing on education and uplifting children. He remained enigmatic about his specific role, stating, “After this day, you will have to wait for me to share my policies and my visions with you.”
Cheddar explained that the events of January 7 compelled him to reveal his political identity, taking the opportunity to sacrifice himself for the sake of the country and the esteemed leaders accompanying him.
Regarding the canceled public event, social media erupted with speculation when the unveiling of The New Force’s leader at the Black Star Square was disrupted by National Security operatives and Ghana Police Service officials.
The advertised event, “The Convention,” featured dignitaries, musicians, and notable personalities. Videos circulated on social media, showcasing event preparations and rumors of the “Man Behind the Mask” unveiling.
However, by 6 pm, reports from GHOne’s Twitter handle indicated that the organizers had to call off the event. There were sightings of helicopters, suspected to be operated by National Security, flying around the venue.
Additional videos on social media showed supporters being barred from accessing the grounds, and allegations on Twitter suggested that special guests and artists were compelled to return to their hotels by the Ghana Police Service and National Security officials.
