Akufo-Addo declares overcoming three tough years heralding a turning point
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced that Ghana is making a positive turnaround after grappling with economic challenges for three years.
In his Christmas address to the nation, the President expressed satisfaction that Ghana has successfully navigated the difficulties faced not only domestically but globally.
Highlighting encouraging signs of economic recovery, he pointed to well-managed inflation, a relatively steady exchange rate, and a resurgence in economic growth.
President Akufo-Addo also emphasized Ghana’s ability to attract both local and international investments, solidifying its status as Africa’s gateway.
Additionally, he underscored the nation’s steadfast commitment to democracy, peace, and stability, positioning Ghana as a shining example on the African continent.
While acknowledging existing challenges, the President instilled confidence by stating that Ghana is on a path toward a brighter future.
He called on citizens to maintain their dedication and resolve, expressing a collective belief that, through hard work, Ghana will overcome remaining obstacles and secure a prosperous future for all.
“The country is not yet completely out of the woods but there is a growing sense of confidence that with hard work and determination, Ghana will make it and collectively we will secure our future.”
