Kofi Kinaata cancels ‘Made in Taadi’ concert for second consecutive year
Multiple award-winning artiste Kofi Kinaata has called off his ‘Made in Taadi’ end-of-year music concert for the second consecutive year, citing difficulties in securing a suitable venue for the well-attended event.
Kinaata’s management shared in a press release on social media that they encountered challenges after the Jubilee Park and Takoradi Technical University Park became inaccessible.
The statement mentioned, “The primary challenge has been finding a suitable venue for the event after Jubilee Park and Takoradi Technical University Park became inaccessible.”
Despite their efforts to secure an alternative venue, they could not find one that would ensure the safety of attendees and maintain the event’s quality.
However, to compensate for the cancellation, Kofi Kinaata’s management assured fans of a new song release in a few days and highlighted his scheduled performances during the festive season at various other shows.
Although the ‘Made in Taadi Concert’ won’t occur this year, Kofi Kinaata fans can anticipate several performances by the artist, as he is booked for multiple events during the Christmas season in Sekondi-Takoradi.
The management encouraged everyone to watch out for other engaging events in the Oil City during Christmas while expressing gratitude for continued support.
They extended Christmas greetings and hopes for the new year to bring about the realization of dreams and aspirations.
This isn’t the first time ‘Made in Taadi’ faced challenges. The concert was initially called off in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and in 2022, it was canceled again due to circumstances beyond Kinaata and his management’s control.
