Beach FM Launches ‘Keeping It Safe’ Campaign To Promote Safety and Security For The Festive Season
The public is urged to prioritize their safety and security as the Christmas and New Year festivities approach.
The festivities are characterized by road crashes and fire outbreaks, among other casualties.
In an interview on Beach FM’s Western Echo, Isdor Oheneba, Hollard Insurance’s Branch Manager in Takoradi, emphasized the need for individuals to insure themselves and their properties during the launch of Beach FM’s ‘KEEPING IT SAFE CAMPAIGN.
According to him, buying insurance is not as expensive as some individuals perceive it to be.
He advised commercial drivers, and especially young people, to consider buying insurance policies.
” It’s not expensive to insure one’s property and family. For fire insurance, the amount you pay is not up to one per cent of the sum insured. Ghanaians have the mentality that “nothing will happen to them” and do not take insurance seriously. Anything can happen, and you may have to pay for compensation.”
Programs Manager for Beach FM, Macall Mensah, outlined the rationale for embarking on the initiative.
He said, “Hollard has a long-standing relationship with Focus 1 and they were our proud sponsors for the first initiative. Pollard is focused on helping people to live a good life and enjoy their Christmas safely and sound.”
Isdor Oheneba encouraged the public to insure with Hollard Insurance to protect their loved ones and properties this season and beyond.
” We need to let everybody keep it safe so that they can enjoy this Christmas safely. Hollard is telling people to keep it safe, come join the Hollard family to get yourself covered,”
