Upset Gold Coast Fund clients to protest for 32 hours at Finance Ministry

Gold Coast

Disgruntled clients of the now-defunct Gold Coast Fund Management plan to stage a 32-hour protest outside the Finance Ministry today, demanding the release of their locked-up funds.

The group alleges that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has not fulfilled its commitment to compensate members affected by the previous October 2023 protest.

Despite unsuccessful attempts to recover their funds from the collapsed Gold Coast Fund Management Company, the aggrieved customers, led by Charles Nyame, obtained police clearance for the continuous 32-hour picket starting at 11 am and concluding on Wednesday at 7 pm.

Nyame emphasized the protest’s sole purpose is to reclaim their funds.
