Reports received by the NGO indicate tragic instances of children being harmed or killed by explosive devices, and there are reports of recruitment by armed groups among the youth.
The city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been besieged by jihadists associated with al-Qaeda since August.
The jihadist restrictions preventing trucks from neighboring regions have resulted in severe shortages and an alarming surge in prices for basic necessities such as food and fuel.
The attacks by jihadists have prompted over 33,000 individuals to flee the city, according to information from the United Nations.
