Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs faces second sexual assault lawsuit following recent settlement
A woman has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that he drugged and sexually assaulted her during a date in 1991.
The plaintiff, Joi Dickerson-Neal, claimed the assault occurred after meeting Combs, also known as Puff Daddy and P Diddy, through mutual connections and appearing in one of his music videos.
She stated that during their meeting in January 1991, she was allegedly drugged by Combs and later assaulted at his residence.
Moreover, she claimed that he covertly filmed the encounter and shared it with others.
This legal action was taken just before the deadline of the New York Adult Survivors Act, which permits individuals to sue for past sex crimes beyond the statute of limitations.
Representatives for Combs countered the allegations, labeling them as false and motivated by financial gain.
They portrayed the lawsuit as an exploitation of a well-intentioned law, suggesting that Dickerson-Neal’s story lacks credibility.
This lawsuit marks the second sexual assault case against Combs this month.
Previously, R&B singer Cassie Ventura accused him of rape and sex trafficking, spanning a decade from when she was 19 and he was 37.
The two reached a settlement shortly after Ventura filed the federal lawsuit.
Despite denying Ventura’s claims, Combs’ lawyer clarified that settling did not imply an admission of guilt.
