Former Child Actor Evan Ellingson from ‘CSI: Miami’, dies at 35

Former child actor Evan Ellingson, famous for his roles in “My Sister’s Keeper” and “CSI Miami,” has passed away at the age of 35.

According to online records from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s division, Ellingson was found deceased in a bedroom in Fontana, located about an hour east of Los Angeles County.

The exact cause of death has not been disclosed, and further details are being sought from Ellingson’s family and the sheriff’s department.

Evan Ellingson is most recognized for his portrayal of Jesse Fitzgerald in the 2009 film “My Sister’s Keeper,” a poignant story about a family dealing with their young daughter’s cancer diagnosis, in which he starred alongside Abigail Breslin, Jason Patric, and Cameron Diaz.

His acting career began with his television debut in 2001 when he played “young Chuck” in the TV movie “Living in Fear.”

As a child actor, he went on to appear in 19 episodes of the ABC sitcom “Complete Savages” between 2004 and 2005, and he had a role in Season 6 of the Fox TV series “24” alongside Kiefer Sutherland.

In a 2009 interview, Ellingson described his childhood as fulfilling, stating that he was busy pursuing his passion for acting from an early age and had no regrets.

Throughout the 2000s, he also appeared in various TV series, including “General Hospital,” “Mad TV,” and “Titus.” In 2006, he was part of the war-era film “Letters from Iwo Jima” and the 2007 indie comedy “Walk the Talk.”

Ellingson’s most recent credit is from “CSI: Miami,” where he portrayed the character Kyle Harmon for three seasons from 2007 to 2010.

On his personal Facebook page, Ellingson expressed his love for activities such as surfing, camping, hiking, and horseback riding during his free time.
