Godfred Dame says NDC lacks the ability to challenge any candidate the NPP will present in 2024
Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Godfred Dame, stated that the NDC is not prepared to compete with any NPP candidate in the 2024 elections.
He made these remarks during the NPP’s ongoing presidential election at the party’s headquarters in Accra on November 4, 2023. Mr. Dame criticized John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer, as being old and lacking fresh ideas for the country.
Mr. Dame expressed confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s ability to secure the NPP’s presidential nomination, citing Bawumia’s integrity, intellect, experience, and vision as qualities that make him the ideal candidate to lead the NPP to victory in 2024.
He also praised Bawumia’s record as Vice President, highlighting his contributions to key government policies.
The NPP is currently holding its presidential primaries, with four candidates competing for the NPP’s flagbearer position: Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Addai-Nimoh, and Kennedy Agyapong.
