Obey Directives As Funeral Rites Of Late Takoradi-Amanful Chief Begins—Public Urged

The burial and final funeral rites of the late Divisional Chief of Takoradi-Amanful, Nana Obo Atta Kojo Esson II, are expected to occur on Saturday, October 282023.

This was contained in a press statement by the Royal Ebiradze Stool Family of Takoradi-Amanful in the Western region.

Affirming the statement on Spice 91.9FM, Nana Ayiredu Ako Kofi urged the public to support the family to honour the late chief by complying with the directive to close all shops to ensure a peaceful funeral process for the late chief.

“Saturday, October 28, 2023, all shops and stores are not supposed to open out of respect for custom and tradition and also for the late Nana Obo Atta Kojo Easton II, the Divisional Chief of Takoradi-Amanful, because that day marks the final day that he leaves for Ekura.”

However, directives do not include Schools, Pharmacies/Drug stores, Hospitals/Clinics, Restaurants/Chop bars, Government workers/Office Workers.
