As part of activities to create awareness of breast cancer, Beach FM organized a free breast cancer screening for residents of Sekondi-Takoradi.
The awareness campaign dubbed #BreastieBestie received a massive turnout as patrons thronged the premises of Beach FM to get their breasts screened.
The awareness started with a health walk through the streets of Takoradi to stem the urgency of getting the breasts screened.
Some beneficiaries of the exercise were full of praise for the organizers of the event.
A nurse at the Doctors in Service, Miss Evelyn Opoku, urged the public, especially women, to get their breasts screened frequently to avoid getting the disease.
The event was organized in partnership with the Doctors in Service Clinic. Tan Freights and Logistics, Animens Hotel and the USA Maquarades Club.
