Menzgold customers are meeting with the police about the GH¢5 million released by NAM1
Today, the leadership of the disgruntled customers of Menzgold Ghana is scheduled to meet with the Ghana Police Service.
The meeting will focus on the release of GH¢5 million by the company’s CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, for further distribution.
In a statement issued by Menzgold, they outlined that the disbursement of funds, which will be overseen by the police, will be limited to clients who have adhered to the specified procedures during the settlement process.
However, Frederick Forson, the convenor of the aggrieved customers, mentioned that the meeting with the police is expected to clarify the next steps in the process.
Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM1, is currently facing a trial for fraud, and the customers have been advocating for the release of their funds since Menzgold halted its operations in 2018. The company has been accused of operating a Ponzi scheme.
