Black Sherif secures his first BET Award in the category of ‘Best International Flow’ at the 2023 Hip-Hop Awards
Black Sherif secured his inaugural BET award for “Best International Flow” at the recently concluded 2023 Hip Hop Awards.
This talented artist, who was nominated twice, competed in the Best International Flow category against nine other rappers.
Notably, he triumphed over fellow African contenders, Aka and K.O from South Africa, as well as Sampa The Great from Zimbabwe. Additionally, he outshone competitors from around the world, including Gazo (France), Central Cee (UK), J Hus (UK), Major Rd (Brazil), Ninho (France), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
It’s worth noting that Black Sherif received his first nomination for “Best International Flow” last year but narrowly missed out on the award, which went to Benjamin Epps.
This year, he was once again nominated in the same category alongside Benjamin Epps (France), Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
The 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards were recorded in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, and will be broadcast live on October 10th.
