“I’m not like Alan who is gentle, let them try..” -Kennedy Agyapong warns of consequences if NPP primaries is unfair

Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has issued a stern warning to the party’s elections committee, urging them to ensure a fair and transparent presidential primaries scheduled for November 4.

Speaking during his Kumasi Showdown walk on September 30, 2023, Agyapong asserted that he would not hesitate to challenge the party if he suspects any election rigging.

Agyapong, known for his outspoken nature, made it clear that he would not tolerate any form of bullying.

“I’m not like Alan who is gentle, let them try…” Ken warned amidst thunderous cheers from his supporters.

In reference to Alan Kyerematen, a former minister who resigned from the NPP, he emphasized his determination to contest the upcoming election and operate under a policy of “an eye for an eye.”

He also alleged that significant financial offers were made to persuade him to step down, including promises of the vice-presidential candidacy alongside Vice President Bawumia, all of which he declined.

Kennedy Agyapong firmly stated his resolve to emerge victorious in the November 4 election.
