In a gathering outside the Ghana High Commission in London on Friday, September 29, Ghanaians residing across the United Kingdom (UK), voiced their growing concerns regarding governance issues and the country’s economic challenges.

Over 100 individuals, armed with placards bearing various messages, congregated at the diplomatic premises to express their discontent.

These demonstrators in the UK were unwavering in their conviction that the Akufo-Addo-led government had not adequately addressed the pressing problems confronting the nation.

They chanted slogans demanding change and greater accountability from their leaders.

However, amid this peaceful demonstration, another group of Ghanaians emerged, appearing to support the current government.

Their presence created a tense standoff between those advocating for change and those defending the status quo.

The pro-government faction accused the demonstrators of engaging in mischief, insinuating that their intentions were to smear the government’s reputation.
