A man, believed to be in his late twenties, was discovered deceased in an abandoned toilet facility located at Awutu Bawjiase Methodist School in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
According to sources, this abandoned toilet facility was part of a project undertaken by the Coastal Development Authority in the Bawjiase area.
An eyewitness named Kwame Abanga reported that a friend informed him of a suspicious incident involving someone found in the disused public toilet. Kwame immediately went to the scene and found the man hanging.
“At around 7 to 8 pm a friend spoke to me about the incident. He told me that he had seen someone in the abandoned toilet facility and suspected foul play. Another friend called to tell me that he was attending to nature’s call when he saw the man hanging in the abandoned toilet facility.
Although the reason for the man’s death remains unknown, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
