People Are Tired Of Shatta Wale And His Controversies Are Dying Out – Ken Addy
Broadcaster and Former Chairperson for the Shatta movement, Ken Addy has shown immense fulfilment in the fact that Ghanaians no longer amplify controversies created by SM boss, Shatta Wale.
Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall artiste, is known over the years to be extremely controversial and has an unending passion for beef as far as music is concerned.
Shatta Wale doesn’t wait to be attacked, he attacks people be they musicians, presenters, or award organizers just to mention a few, without reviewing the consequences. Stonebwoy and Sarkodie have always been on Shatta Wale’s attack list for a long period resulting in arguments within each artiste’s fanbases.
Shatta mostly attacks these two sensational Ghanaian artiste for no concrete reason and the truth is he finds a way to trend around his jabs. He gets a loud audience anytime he attacks them but recently it seems the tables have turned.
In an interview with Nana Ama Shancy on Spice OFIE ne fie, Ken Addy expressed his intense happiness recently as Ghanaians ignore and pay less attention to Shatta wale’s controversies.
“Nana Ama, even from my time, controversies thrive in the industry and we can’t run away from that. However, Shatta Wale attacking Stonebwoy and Sarkodie shouldn’t be a bother.”
” As we talk now these two artiste are on a world tour but where is Shatta now? He’s in Kumasi. Why should his jabs be a bother? Currently, people pay less attention to Shatta Wale and his noise and I’m very happy about that.,” He said.
“Shatta Wale is my son and I admire his hard work. I declared myself as a chairperson for the Shatta movement some time ago until he started attacking the media consistently. That is where I declared publicly that I’m no longer his chairperson because I’m also into the media, and you can’t be abusing us without thinking twice. I talk to him a lot but now, Ghanaians are tired of him and people do not amplify whatever he does anymore”, He continued.
Ken Addy congratulated Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and other Ghanaian musicians who are working effortlessly to put Ghana on the map. He added that the Ghana-Nigeria comparison proves how great Ghanaians are doing musically.
He said this based on the fact that Ghanaians are struggling for investors and support. Even though Ghana’s population is very small, Nigerians with the numbers and money are still competing with us insinuating how great we are doing as a country.
