Ghanaian rapper and now Afro piano musician, Stay Jay has alleged artiste, especially the musically spiritless artiste as selfish and self-centred.
There’s been a nonstop conversation about veteran artiste or better still musically impassioned artiste, bringing up artistes to be groomed and managed for a firm industry.
Some of these veterans term this ideology as “dumb” and “baseless”.
Stay Jay, who happens to be an artiste, has alleged these veterans as selfish and self-centred.
“Most of the artiste in our industry are selfish. Asake was a road manager for a Nigerian comedian but he has always wanted to do music. Now tell me who is managing him.
” Olamide who happens to be a musician is managing Asaake and Fireboy and looks at their level now. Our Ghanaian musicians will never do this”, he blustered.
Speaking on Spice FM’s OFIE Ne FIE with Nana Ama Shancy, the musician touched on the heavy comparison between Nigerians and Ghanaians by netizens. Stay Jay-assured that Ghanaians are going to dominate as soon as we get the resources we’ve been grieving for.
“Ghanaians are blessed and we have everything it takes. If we also get the resources and support the Nigerians are getting, of course, we will dominate. We lack investors and supporters and that’s our only problem”, he assured.
Stay Jay who has been off the the music scene for a while, announced his come back and his decision to stay. He has a new single titled “Odo”, featuring Kosi Sia which is doing marvelously well.
