Ghanaians Hate Female-To-Female Collaboration-Sista Afia
Sensational Ghanaian Musician, Sista Afia, has alleged that Ghanaians hate to see female-to-female collaboration due to less support.
There’s a notion that female musicians are not united and do not collaborate enough compared to males. Ghanaian female artiste, Sista Afia has collaborated with most of the females and has debunked these rumours, blaming the same people for ranting.
“Personally I’ve collaborated with most of the female artiste. Talking of Eno Barony, Freda Rhymz, and Feli Nuna among others I think Ghanaians do not love to see that. The support, when it comes to female collaboration is low. Rather they’ll channel their energy on controversies and that’s what they love”, she fumed.
Speaking to Nana Ama Shancy on spice OFIE ne fie, she admitted that controversies make an industry but there should be massive support on the side of the female artiste.
She further stated that females mostly last short in the industry because of less support from the audience.
“Female artiste last short in the industry mostly because of the audience. The support from them is down, and the negative talk overshadows us. Ghanaians talk too much, and it breaks us”, she lamented.
Sista Afia urged Ghanaians to support the females because they need it the most. “Believe it or not ladies we are fragile and soft.
Things easily break us and all these are factors. The female part of artistry goes down day by day but we shouldn’t let it break us down. We can still do it”, she said.
According to Sista Afia, if the support given to the men is equally given to the women, everything will be balanced. She talked of her newly released single “Shine Ya Eye” and urged all to stream.
