Female Ghanaian musician, Sista Afia, has advised female artistes especially the upcoming ones, to be on the lookout because men will definitely ask them for sex in exchange for favours.
Conversation of female artiste going through extreme stress and depression due to lack of support and management is on the rise in the industry. Mostly people assert that they’re being offered favors based on sexual conditions.
In an interview with Nana Ama Shancy on Spice FM’s OFIE ne fie, the “Jeje” hitmaker admitted these conversations were true and alerted all females to be on guard.
“Just know that you’re a lady and it’s only ladies that are attracted to men. Ladies have sexual appeal and definitely men are going to make advances. It happens in every field, in hospitals, radio stations, everywhere.
Music is also a field so it happens there, but it’s up to you to decide whether or not to give your body to them”, she clarified.
Sista Afia added that in as much as the industry is filled with sexual offers, no one could ever gather the courage to approach her sexually.
“I won’t deny, it’s going on in the industry, but I’ve built myself to a point where nobody can approach me sexually. With my brand and how I’ve structured myself, no one can do that”, she bragged.
She beseeched ladies to be smart and know how to manoeuvre their way around the industry.
