A distressing event involving a teacher at St. Paul’s Anglican Basic School has been investigated by the Wenchi Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) in the Bono Region.

In order to show their innocence about the instructor’s lost phone, it is believed that the teacher made certain students swear by a god.

According to the GES, if the teacher is determined to have committed these crimes, he will be held accountable in accordance with the established code of conduct.

Wenchi Municipal Education Department’s Public Relations Officer, David Baffoe, said that the department would not spare any effort in obtaining the truth.

He stated, “We started the investigations…and we will continue today so that we can establish the facts on the whole matter so that we can communicate appropriately to the public. We are there to make sure that we get the truth from the matter, and if the teacher is found culpable, we will use the established code of conduct against him.”
