Furthering My Education To The Tertiary Level Was A Promise Made To My Late Dad – Amerado

Kumasi-based rapper and VGMA’s Best Rapper Of The Year, Amerado, has revealed that he pursued his tertiary education to fulfil his promise to his dear father.

Amerado spelt out that going back to school was a great promise to his dad that needed to be accomplished.

“One of my dreams was to complete tertiary education. It is one of my policies to my late dad and I needed to fulfil it”, he revealed.

He further clarified that going back to the tertiary was going to give him the knowledge he required. Most importantly for his music business, being in the university will also build his fanbase.

“Then again I needed the knowledge to build me as a young champ. The third reason is to build an audience in there because people in the university are a lot and not all artiste get the chance to be closer to them.

One way to be closer to them is to be one of them. So I took advantage of me having a good certificate, bought my forms to go in there to study and gather my fan base” ” he clarified.

The rap artiste who doubles as a student at the University of Ghana lamented how challenging it is being a student and a musician at the same time.

He grieved over his results lately which wasn’t up to his expectations but quite understandable because of his difficult career. Amerado has an amazing EP “Young and Strong” featured by Strongman on all music platforms.
