We Disagree With The Minister – Residents Of Sek-T’di
A cross-section of the public in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis disagrees with the Western Regional Minster, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah’s assertion, that the region is the most developed as compared to other regions along the coast of the country.
The Minister during an interview with Beach News touted the region to be the most developed in terms of road infrastructure amongst others.
According to them, most of the roads in the Metropolis have developed potholes that have turned into manholes, making it impossible to access them.
“A look at the Kwesimintsim road should tell you that nothing has been done about the bad state of roads in the region.
Almost all roads in the region have developed potholes.
So, what exactly has he done for us, the people of the Western Region?”
“Just imagine this road at Summer Lodge. It’s been 7 years since but no major works have been done. I don’t see any development happening here in the region. I disagree with him.”
