The Western Region and Western North Region have voted massively for the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, to be one of the five contestants who would contest for the ultimate position of flagbearer-ship in November.
10 members of the New Patriotic Party, NPP contested for the Flagbearship positions.
Amongst the contestants were, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Joe Ghartey, Kofi Konadu Apraku, Boakye Agyarko, Ken Ohene Agyapong, Kwadwo Poku, Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Francis Addai Nimo and Kwabena Agyapong.
In the Western Region, the voting was held on Saturday, 26, 2023 at the Takoradi Technical University, TTU with 46 delegates expected to vote.
