According to preliminary findings, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, who is the second candidate in the race for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidency, has qualified for the next round of voting in November.
Both Ken Agyapong and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia are running for the first time in the NPP presidential contest.
With more endorsements, Ken Agyapong has surpassed Alan Kyerematen, who has been in the contest since 2007. Bawumia had the most endorsements, with Ken Agyapong and Alan Kyerematen following closely behind.
For the November match, two additional players will join the three.
Francis Addai Nimoh, Kwadwo Poku, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, and Kofi Konadu Apraku appear to be the five candidates who will not advance to the next round of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential election in November.
Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Agyapong, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, and maybe Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, the former Minister of Food and Agriculture, are the five people who have been shortlisted.
