Dennis Miracles Aboagye, an integral member of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, has asserted that, the victor emerging from the New Patriotic Party‘s (NPP) special delegates’ conference will inevitably secure success in the upcoming November primaries.
In an interview on Accra-based Citi FM on Friday, August 25, 2023, Mr. Aboagye expounded on the NPP’s organizational structure, which according to him, has consistently demonstrated that the winner of the special delegates’ conference holds a promising advantage in the subsequent primaries.
Amid his discourse, he fervently encouraged all NPP faithful to rally behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, whom he considers to be the party’s beacon of hope and the harbinger of the nation’s future.
Further extending his appeal, Miracles Aboagye implored all delegates participating in the party’s imminent Saturday special delegates’ conference to cast their votes in favor of the vice president. He underscored the pivotal role this step plays in ensuring the party’s triumphant path in the forthcoming 2024 elections.
“The way our party is structured, whoever wins Saturday’s election will win the November primaries,” he stated, adding that “Dr Bawumia will win that election on Saturday by not less than 70 percent votes.”
The NPP is set to hold a special delegates’ conference over the weekend, operating at the regional level. This significant event seeks to streamline the pool of ten flagbearer hopefuls to a final five, paving the way for the next critical phase in the party’s journey.
